reach for the stars

The other night we got home from a visit to my sister's house way past dark, and the stars were incredibly bright. As we were walking into the house, Millie stopped and said with awe, "Staws!!" She then stretched her hands as high as they'd go and said, "Weach staws." I asked her if she could reach them and she said, "Nooooo... Mommy weach?"

Oh, how I wish I could reach them for her!
