For Halloween this year, Millie wanted to be a witch! She insisted that she was a nice witch, not a mean one, and that what nice witches do is turn people into frogs and make silly faces! So, after turning me into a frog and showing me her very best nice-witch poses, she was ready to go.

This was her first real time trick-or-treating, and she thought it was pretty much the coolest thing ever. We took her to the trunk-or-treat at the park, to Grandma Johansen's, and to two of our neighbors. She loved seeing all the people dressed up in costumes - her favorite was the tall skinny guy dressed as Jack Skellington! Of course, the candy was a hit, too. Luckily, she didn't mind sharing with Mommy and Daddy. :)

She's already started talking about next Halloween! Every few days she says, "So next is Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, and then Halloween again, right Mommy??"

We love you, our silly-face-making nice witch! :)

Lauren and Liz - what's so funny about the 2nd picture is that she did that totally on her own - this was a few days before Halloween and Larry wasn't even there!! She is SO her father's daughter... :)
