conversations with millie

There was a huge building being constructed in a parking lot we pulled into yesterday - just framing and metal scaffolding - and when Millie caught sight of it, she had this to say:

"Mommy, I NOT like that castle."

"You don't? Why don't you like it?"

"So big. I NOT want to live there."

"Oh, OK! Should we just stay in our little house?"

"Yeah!"
